Please remember our early dismissal schedule this week. All Lake County schools will follow a Wednesday dismissal schedule on Wednesday, May 27; Thursday, May 28; and Friday, May 29, which is the last day of school. Mark your calendars, plan accordingly, and prepare for a great summer break!

There is no school on Monday, May 25, 2026. It is Memorial Day.

The 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony is May 26, 2026, at 5:30. Please have students at Leesburg High at 5:00 pm, and the ceremony starts promptly at 5:30. We ask that you wait until after the ceremony is over before pulling your child to leave. This disrupts the ceremony, and parents can't hear their child's name being recognized. Also, awards are given to individual students at the end, and we want to make sure your child is present to receive their award.

Dont forget Dollar Dance tomorrow. $1to enter and $1-$2 per snack. 5th Grade promotion ceremony is on Tuesday, May 26th at 5:30. Students need to arrive by 5 pm. 5th grade celebratory picnic on May 26th from 11-1. Parents are invited. Please don't forget to RSVP. There is no school on Monday, May 25th as its Memorial Day. May 27th, 28th, and 29th are early release days. School gets out at 2 pm each day. Proficiency Pool Party on May 28th and 29th. More Info to come and May 29th is the last day of school.

Good evening,

To all 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade parents, if your child received a permission form for either Sky Zone or the Fruitland Park Pool, please return those as soon as possible. For those who earned Sky Zone, please make sure to scan the QR code at the bottom of the permission slip. Students will not be able to attend without the waiver completed. If you forgot and sent in the form, see the attached picture.

Florida requires that instruction in reproductive health, family life, and the prevention and control of disease be age and grade-appropriate; taught using FDOE-reviewed and approved instructional materials; approved locally by the school board; and that information on the district plan is communicated via the district website, including parental opt-outs.
