On this day last week, we were preparing to say farewell to our seniors. We cannot wait to hear about all the amazing things they will accomplish. Congratulations to our fellow Trojans!

The Lee County School System is deeply saddened to share that one of our staff members, Nancy McLendon, has passed away.

For the past eight years, Ms. McLendon was a dedicated member of our team at Lee County Elementary School. Her love for music could brighten any room. She made every student feel special and supported with her fun and energetic personality.

On behalf of Dr. Truitt and the Board of Education, we offer our deepest condolences to the McLendon family. We are proud to have had her as a part of our FamiLEE.
