Loudoun Museum A museum dedicated to preserving and sharing the long history of Loudoun County With a collection of over 8,000 artifacts, we have something for everybody.

We have artifacts on display from many events and eras in Loudoun County's past, and plenty to learn about Loudoun’s role in everything from wine production to the Civil War. Right in the backyard of Washington, D.C., our history is the Nation’s history, but our county is one of a kind. Come by and find out for yourself.

🎃👻Downtown trick or treating is happening TOMORROW, Sunday 10/25 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. We're looking forward to seeing your ghosts, witches, superheroes, and princesses!

Loudoun Museum and more than 50 of our neighbors will be passing out Halloween treats to children of all ages. Visit us, just a block off King Street and next to the parking garage, to get your hands on some goodies!

Bring nonperishable food donations to The Very Virginia Shop on King Street to support Mobile Hope, a local nonprofit helping homeless and at-risk youth.

You won’t want to miss our featured storyteller during Hauntings, Rick Etter, who has been volunteering for the event since 1991! That is an incredible 35 years of frightening and enlightening tour-goers with the history of downtown Leesburg and ghostly tales. 🎃

This year, Rick will be sharing stories of Lynch House, Glenfiddich House, and Hauntings past on the porch of the Donaldson Log Cabin adjacent to the museum throughout each night of Hauntings.

Stop by and hear Rick after you check in for your tour or swing back after your tour for more eerie tales! 👻
