Loudoun Cares is dedicated to connecting those who serve with those in need to build a stronger community.

Loudoun Cares is a 501(c) 3 organization founded in 2002 to promote the sharing of community services under one roof. This model, already utilized in many communities, encourages collaboration and efficiency among nonprofit agencies—ultimately benefiting the long-term health of the community. ares works to initiate unity among the county's many nonprofit organizations, serves as a leader and advocate for the nonprofit community, and operates several programs to directly help residents from all walks of life. Loudoun Cares hosts the information and referral help line (703-669-INFO) that is available at no charge as a resource to those in need. A certified call specialist talks with callers and links them with the proper health and human service provider if they require assistance.

If you've been meaning to get around to it, this is your nudge: August is National Make-A-Will Month. Now is the time to make this a priority!

And while you're at it, we have a new way for you to leave a long lasting legacy. We're pleased to introduce the Loudoun Cares Legacy Society — a group that celebrates supporters who have included Loudoun Cares in their estate plans. Membership is open to anyone who has named us in a will, trust, beneficiary designation, or gift of appreciated assets. There's no minimum, no requirement to disclose an amount, and no binding commitment. You need not be wealthy to leave a lasting impact — many of our members simply want to know their values keep working after they're gone.

If you’re an artist with an original painting or sculpture, this is your chance to have your work featured in the Loudoun Cares 8th Annual Art Auction and help support programs that strengthen our community.

Every piece featured in the auction helps raise critical funds for programs that connect local individuals and families with the resources, support, and opportunities they need. By sharing your creativity, you are not only showcasing your work. You are helping strengthen our entire community. 💜

Artists from Virginia, Washington, DC, Maryland, and West Virginia are invited to submit original 2D paintings or 3D sculptures created within the past 18 months. All artwork must be ready to hang or display.

Whether you lead volunteers for a nonprofit, church, school, community group, or other organization, Loudoun Cares can help you strengthen your volunteer program.

Loudoun Cares is preparing an upcoming Volunteer Management Training Program designed to help local leaders recruit, engage, and support volunteers more effectively.

Happy International Mah Jongg Day! 🀄

There is no better way to celebrate than by making plans to play for a purpose. Join Loudoun Cares for Sip, Play & Give Back: A Mah Jongg Social on Sunday, September 27, at Waverly Springs.

Whether you are an experienced player or completely new to the game, you are invited to enjoy an afternoon of Mah Jongg, wine, snacks, and great company. An instructor will be available to guide new players, so everyone can join in the fun.

Tickets are $85 per person or $300 for a table of 4 people, with proceeds supporting Loudoun Cares and our work throughout the community.
