For six years, Zack Carpenter has helped strengthen Loudoun Cares and the community we serve.

From supporting our Marketing and Events Committees to serving as Chair of Fund Development and Vice Chair, Zack has played an important role in advancing our mission. He also helped shape our 2023 Strategic Plan and was always willing to roll up his sleeves, whether at the Art Auction or one of our community events.

As Zack concludes his service after reaching his Board term limit, we are grateful for his leadership, dedication, and countless contributions over the years.

We are honored to be part of the Inova community and grateful for their continued investment in the health and well-being of our neighbors.

Thank you to Inova Health System for awarding Loudoun Cares a $25,000 grant through the 2026 Inova Community Health Opportunities program. This funding will support our comprehensive case management services, helping connect individuals and families with the resources they need to navigate challenges and achieve greater stability.

It was a privilege to attend the luncheon celebration and join so many organizations working together to strengthen our community.

Our Community Shred & More event was a huge success and it wouldn't have happened without the amazing partners who showed up and made it all possible.

The turnout was incredible, and we are so grateful for every single person who came out. Thank you for helping us make this community a little cleaner, a little greener, and a whole lot stronger.

A fond farewell to Glenn Wooten who reached his term limit after serving as a Loudoun Cares Board Member for six years.

During his term, Glenn lent his time and efforts to multiple special events including our Art Auctions, Community Shred events, the Outstanding Volunteer Awards (OVAs), and two Golf Tournaments partnered with DC Prime. Please join us in saying Thank You For Your Service, Glenn!

We are incredibly grateful to announce that Loudoun Cares has received a $20,000 grant from 100WomenStrong of Loudoun County, Virginia to support our ConnectLine program and expand critical case management services for Loudoun residents in need.

Every day, ConnectLine helps families, seniors, and individuals facing hardship access essential resources like food, utilities, transportation support, and emergency assistance. As the need for longer-term support continues to grow across our community, this funding will help Loudoun Cares provide more structured short to mid-term case management that connects clients not only to immediate relief, but to long-term stability.

We are deeply thankful to 100WomenStrong and their members for investing in local nonprofits and helping strengthen the safety net for Loudoun County families.

Together, we can continue building a more stable and supportive community for all. 💜
