ICYMI: COVID-19 vaccine boosters are now available for ages 16 and older; and first and second doses remain available for ages 5 and older. Details below 👇

#Loudoun County is now offering appointments for COVID-19 vaccine booster doses to 16- and 17-year-olds following the move by federal health authorities to expand booster eligibility to older teens.
➡️ Individuals who are 16 and 17 years old and who received their second dose in the two-dose series of the Pfizer vaccine at least six months ago are eligible for the booster.
➡️ While the county has expanded booster vaccinations to include the new age group, the number of available appointments for people 12 and over is currently limited due to high demand.

11/05/2021

COVID-19 vaccine appointments are now available for ages 5 to 11.

#Loudoun County is now offering appointments for children ages 5 to 11 to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
➡We expect that demand for the vaccine for this age group will initially outpace supply and will limit the number of appointments available in the early days of the vaccination effort.
➡As vaccine supplies increase through the month of November, more appointments will open up.
