OVER 40 FOOD ITEMS ARE READY TO BE GVEN TO RESIDENTS OF LAKE COUNTY THIS FRIDAY AT THE JHIFM FOOD DISTRIBUTION.

Joining Hands in Food Ministry (JHIFM) will hold its monthly free food distribution from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM IN TWO DAYS, THIS FRIDAY, August 14, 2026, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 130 S. Lone Oak Drive, Leesburg, Florida.
LAKE COUNTY residents in need are eligible to receive one week’s supply of food. You don’t need to bring anything, just drive through our parking lot and our volunteers will load your vehicle. For more information, call (352) 744-6035.

TIP: You don’t need to show up at 8:30 AM to receive your food. Experienced clients arrive around 9:30 AM to avoid the congestion of the early birds. By 9:30 AM, our parking lot has fewer cars to register, and we still have plenty of food to distribute. Please arrive by 10:20 to be sure you are registered by 10:30 when the distribution ends.

LIFESOUTH COMMUNUITY BLOOD CENTERS will be onsite at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. WE’VE ALL GOT A TYPE@ SHARE Each donor will receive a free custom LifeSouth T-shirt. There are also FREE Diabetes A1C tests for all donors. Walk-Ins are welcome. Appointments are encouraged. A HEARTFELT THANK YOU to the 40+ volunteers from Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, First Presbyterian Church of Leesburg, and from around our local community who joined hands today, Friday, May 8, 2026, to distribute 10910 pounds of nutritious food to 496 individuals from 139 families in just over two hours.
