BOIL ADVISORY UPDATE — September 4, 2026
The City of Leeton remains under a boil advisory at this time. Following the loss of water pressure during repairs completed last week, the City completed the initial required water testing. Three samples were submitted for testing. One of the three samples must be repeated through no fault of the City. That sample has been resubmitted to the laboratory, and we are currently awaiting the results, which are expected within 3–5 days.

We understand the continued boil advisory is an inconvenience for our residents, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation.

The safety of our community’s water supply remains our top priority. Until 100% of the required testing process has been successfully completed, the City of Leeton will remain under a boil advisory.

We will provide another update as soon as the final test results are received.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

🌳 TREE LIMB CLEARING UPDATE — CITY OF LEETON

The tree limb easement (area between the sidewalk and the street) clearing project began yesterday, and our Public Works Department has been busy working with the tree trimmers.

Tree limbs were temporarily being placed along the side of the roads so the streets can remain clear and accessible. Beginning today, our Public Works crew will start working through the areas to clean up and remove the limbs that have been cut.

We understand that seeing piles of tree limbs along the streets may be frustrating, especially as the work is underway. Please know that the limbs are part of the active cleanup process and are not being left behind. The Public Works crew is working to get each area cleaned up as efficiently as possible.

We’ve also heard from residents who are pleased to see this project taking place, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while the work is being completed. ❤️

This project is an important step in improving roadway clearance, safety, and tree-limb easements throughout our community.

Thank you for your patience while our Public Works crew continues to work through the areas. We appreciate your cooperation and support as we work to keep Leeton safe and looking its best!
