National School Resource Officer (SRO) Appreciation Day is celebrated annually on February 15th to honor law enforcement officers working in schools.
This day recognizes SROs for their roles as mentors, educators, and protectors who build positive relationships and ensure student safety.
SROs help prevent conflicts, bridge the gap between law enforcement and youth, and create a safer, more supportive environment for students and staff.
So today, lets recognize SGT / SRO William Webb Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

Officer Ryan Stovall got to meet up close and personal, a Barred Owl. Just look at those Heartfelt eyes, we mean on the Owl. 😊. This could not have happened without the Amazing Sportsman’s Club here in Leetonia, Ohio. Every year the Leetonia Sportsman’s Club puts on a Kid’s Day event and every year the Leetonia Police Department has participated. The goal is to educate and participate in outdoor activities for youth between the ages of 6 and 15. The event is held on the 4th Saturday of September every year. It is 100% free to the public. Thank You Leetonia Sportsman Club, we’ve enjoyed our participation every year. If you missed this event, make sure you attend the next year!
