Hey! Put that phone down and grab your friends! This Saturday night is all about FUN, connection and vibes.

•Free Nacho Bar 🧀

Don't worry parents, this will be fully supervised by trusted school and community leaders.You go enjoy a night off!

Hey Parents of Lehi middle schoolers. Lehi Cares is partnering with Lehi Latinos in Action and Skyridge Student Council to throw a heck of a party for the middle schoolers to connect and have a fun filled party!
There will be free food and games. Student ID is required!

👨🏼‍🌾 Did you know teaching kids (any kid counts! Doesn't have to even be yours) how to garden can prevent them from substance use?

✨It's true and it's science! Come learn from our Social Development Strategies for giving kids the opportunity (get some plants or seeds) teaching them the skills (garden skills) and then praising them for their efforts (positive recognition) connects them to you with attachment and bonding.

You show them a healthy life and provide the boundaries and the kids are more likely to stick within those boundaries. Pretty cool right? 💪🏼

It's Roundup! Some see our booth at Wines Park! We are showcasing our creative Photo voice that our Lehi youth took photos of why they are struggling with Low Commitment to School and Depressive symptoms and more importantly, Protective Factors to keep them on the healthy path of behavior and life!
We also have our amazing prevention resources, fun prizes and our Family Summer Bingo Board for family bonding. Come say hi to Lehi Cares! Today, Friday from 11-7 pm and tomorrow from 9-5 pm!

Come follow along with your family on an summer!

We are going to be at Lehi Roundup! Market with our booth passing out our Summer Bingo Board, Prevention focused resources and loads of fun things to get you on your way to setting clear boundaries for your kids.

The giveaway goes through Sept 8th. All you have to do is follow and tag us in your photos of your family achieving the Bingo Card activities and use the for a chance to win 1 of 5 awesome adventure bag prizes!

Being a teen is already a difficult time. Traumatic events can make them feel out of control, even if they act as if they are strong. They may also feel bad for people affected, and have a strong question to know why this has happened. Keep the lines of communication open. Make sure you know concerning behavior to look out for. Guide them through coping strategies that are positive and away from substance abuse. The Child Mind Institute has an especially helpful guide for parents when teens are going through an especially traumatic situation. We will have the link on our website.
