Here’s what’s happening this week:

MONDAY — Kiddie Kraft 10:00–11:30 AM
Ages 0–5 + caregiver
NO registration—just pop in!
Kiddie Kraft happens every Monday we’re open! If you’re new to the library since we opened in the Civic Center, you may not have experienced this one yet. Think of it as Craft N’ Play… but inside!
TUESDAY — Wiggle Worms
No registration needed! Just come join us for some storytime fun. 📚😍
TUESDAY & THURSDAY — Kids Adventure Time
Ages 6–8 CAMPING THEME! Registration required
Choose from TWO sessions—both sessions are the exact same program. Registration required.
WEDNESDAY — STEM Explorers Grades 4–6
Registration required.
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY — Storytime
No registration needed! Come enjoy stories, songs, and fun. 💛
WEDNESDAY — Mahjong 101 Ages 18+
Registration required!

✨Meet Liz! ✨
Another awesome member of our team! Liz joined us in the Technical Services Department as a page in the summer of 2025, and we have absolutely loved having her here!

One of Liz’s favorite things about working at the library are the times when she can organize books while listening to a great audiobook!
Here are a few of Liz’s favorites:
📽️ Howl's Moving Castle
📺 Favorite TV Show: Attack on Titan
📖 Favorite Book: The Help
🧀 Favorite Snack: Cheez-Its — I mean, you really can’t go wrong with those!
🛹Favorite Hobby: Longboarding! How cool is that!

And Liz is a film major with dreams of making movies someday! 🎬 She actually imagines every book she reads as a movie, so we’re pretty sure she has a whole library of movie ideas already brewing in her head. We can’t wait to see one of those ideas make it to the big screen someday!

She collects disco balls and has a tiny little runt of a cat named Henry, who is apparently a VERY good boy.

Oh, and Liz loves changing her hair color every couple of months! She’ll be rocking purple hair very soon, so keep an eye out! 💜

We all love working with Liz! She is so much fun to be around, incredibly helpful, and always willing to say yes and jump in whenever someone needs a hand. We’re so lucky to have her on our team!

So next time you see Liz out in the stacks shelving books, be sure to say hi! Ask her about longboarding, hair colors, movies, or being a film major.

We can’t wait to see where the future takes Liz — and, hopefully, see some of the movies she makes someday! ⭐
