🎉 GOOD NEWS! Our Women’s Emergency Shelter is NOW OPEN!

After a lot of hard work and prayer, we are incredibly grateful to announce that Peaceful Knights can now provide overnight emergency shelter for women facing homelessness in Carbon County.

Sometimes life gets hard. Sometimes people run out of options. And sometimes what someone needs most is simply a safe place for the night, a little compassion, and the reminder that there is still hope.

🛏️ Women staying with us have a safe, restful place to sleep, a hot shower, dinner and breakfast, along with compassion, dignity, faith-based encouragement and support.

Who do we serve?
Our shelter is specifically for women who are currently physically in Carbon County OR who are from Carbon County.

This is our LOW-BARRIER EMERGENCY SHELTER. There is no application process or drug test required. Guests simply need ID or another way to verify their identity. Guests may not enter if they are severely impaired, aggressive or unable to safely stay in the shelter.

Our Transitional Housing Program is a separate program with its own application and eligibility requirements.

Please note: We are NOT a domestic violence shelter.

From now until Sunday 9am. 🔥 CODE RED IS IN EFFECT 🔥

Due to the dangerous heat, Peaceful Knights has activated our Code Red protocol.

Our Men's Emergency Shelter, which is open 365 nights a year, will remain open 24 hours a day during this heat emergency so that men experiencing homelessness have a safe, air-conditioned place to stay.

We also keep a cooler of fresh drinking water outside our emergency shelter throughout the summer because there simply are not as many places to access water as there should be.

If you know of a man experiencing homelessness who may be struggling in this extreme heat, please let him know that help is available.

Monetary donations and our Amazon Wish List can be found at PeacefulKnights.org. It takes a tremendous amount of money, supplies, and resources to care for our homeless neighbors, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and support this community continues to show us.

Together, we can make sure no man is left outside in life-threatening temperatures.
