We’re excited to announce the establishment of the Ron Hydro Outstanding Athlete Award Fund!

Created by Ron’s son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Sheila Hydro, in honor of his upcoming 80th birthday, this endowed $500 scholarship recognizes Jim Thorpe Area High School basketball players who demonstrate excellence both on the court and through service to their community. 🏀🏆

Congratulations to inaugural recipient Caiden Hodor, who was recognized at this year’s Senior Awards Night.

🎟️ Stop by the Palmerton Public Market LLC before 2 PM today to visit Jennifer and Zoey from the Kids for the Community Fund and check out their basket raffle!

All proceeds support the Kids For The Community Fund and the fun service projects they organize for local kids, including gardens, cards for seniors, and their upcoming Heroes Day event, where the kids get to meet with local first responders. 💙
