📢 You're Invited! 📢

Join us for the Open House of our Recycling Drop-Off Center at 900 Fairyland Road, next Saturday, June 20th from 9:00am – 12:00pm! The event will be held right behind the building at the two pavilions, where community members can come together to learn more about recycling and the services available to our residents.

⚠️ Friendly Reminder: This event is OPEN HOUSE ONLY. We will not be accepting recyclables during the event. Recycling drop-off services will officially begin on July 2nd.

🚛 A food truck will be on site, so come hungry!

🐐 We also have a special surprise appearance from some of the area's very best recyclers—the true G.O.A.T.s of recycling! That's right, we'll have adorable baby goats available for kids, adults, and visitors of all ages to cuddle, pet, and enjoy while learning about the importance of recycling and environmental stewardship.

♻️ Accepted Recycling Commodities Include:

• Paper
• Cardboard
• Aluminum Cans
• Mixed Metals
• Mixed Glass
• Tires (There is a fee for tires)
$5.00 per tire up to 20'
$25.00 per tire 21' +
$30.00 per large equipment tire

Have questions about what can and cannot be recycled within these categories? Come to the Open House! We will have information available and staff on hand to answer your questions and help ensure you're ready when the Recycling Drop-Off Center officially opens.

If you are interested in volunteering to help at the Recycling Drop-Off Center during operating hours, please contact the Township Office and ask to speak with Elizabeth. She will be happy to schedule you for a day that works best for you.

We’re excited to share that this shed has been repurposed and will serve as the new check-in point for our Recycling Drop-Off Center!

Rather than letting a perfectly usable structure go to waste, we gave it a new purpose that will help improve operations and provide a designated location for residents checking in during recycling drop-off events.

This is a great example of reusing existing resources while supporting our community’s recycling efforts. We look forward to putting it to good use and continuing to make our Recycling Drop-Off Center more convenient and efficient for everyone.

Also a special thank you to All-Points Towing for their assistance in safely relocating the shed. Their help made this project possible, and we greatly appreciate their support. Thank you again to Jared, Fluffy, and Ruben!!

Garbage and Sewer Bills Have Been Mailed

Garbage and sewer bills have been sent out and cover the months of June, July, and August. Payment is due by July 10, 2026.

If your account has been paid in full and has a credit balance, the amount due will appear in parentheses, and your bill will state "Credit Balance – Do Not Pay."

Please note that billing statements are still printed and mailed to all customers, even if there is no payment due. The left side of the bill contains important information for residents who may not use social media, and we are unable to stop individual bills from being printed and mailed.

Online payments are now available. Payment instructions can be found on your bill.

📢 ATTENTION RESIDENTS 📢

Please be on the lookout for your Recycling Passes! Passes have been mailed out to residents who circled “YES” on their garbage bills.

We understand the lettering on the bill may have been small, and if you happened to miss it — that’s completely okay! Our event on June 20th will be an opportunity for residents to obtain a recycling pass and ask any questions regarding the Drop-Off Center.

In observance of Memorial Day, the Franklin Township Administration Office will be closed on Monday, May 25th.

The office will reopen during normal business hours following the holiday. We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend. 🇺🇸
