My sister Dawn, and I along with our good friend April have decided to start a homeless shelter for women, children and their pets. We are a registered non-profit called Dawn’s Haven. We are currently raising funds to establish our first shelter. We are currently in our early round for friends and family. Our shelters will provide more then just a place to rest. We also provide food, shelter, clothing, help with job training, job placement, college applications (college grants / scholarships), resumes, transportation, helping with doctors and anything else that is needed to help a person get back on her feet.
Your donation will directly help someone who is in need. Help others by helping us provide the necessities for these women and children. Our campaign goal is $25,000. However the good news is we only need a fraction of that to be able to move on. If we reach our $25K goal we will be able to open a shelter much sooner and provide support much sooner. Take a few extra dollars from your tax return and donate it to a good cause and you can write it off next year's taxes.
