Today, and the last 10-years of memorable events, have proven that Ronnie wasn't "kind" of a big deal. He "was" a big deal!

Today was the 10th annual, and final, Ron's "I'm Kind of a Big Deal" Ride organized by the Officer Ronald Tarentino, Jr. Charitable Fund! What an incredible turnout for a mid-October ride honoring a larger than life man, husband, father, brother, son, friend and brother officer!

If you took pictures or vids of the ride along the route and would like us to share them, just message us and we'll put them out there in the coming days.

Sharing sad news about the passing of 69-year-old Leicester resident and veteran, Bruce Swett. Bruce was a veteran of the United States Air Force who served his nation, returned home and continued his service as a distinguished member of the Cherry Valley American Legion Post 443 .

We would like to express our deepest sympathies to his family and brethren who knew him best.

Rest in peace, sir. 🫡 🇺🇸

The Leicester motor had the pleasure of joining with the CEMLEC Motor Unit today to assist Auburn MA Police with their school bus safety effort.

Today, our motorcycle unit was joined by members of the CEMLEC Motorcycle Unit from the Leicester, Westborough, and Millbury Police Departments for a coordinated school bus safety patrol.

Motorcycle officers followed buses from the high school along their routes to the elementary schools, keeping a watchful eye for drivers who failed to stop for school buses. This effort was conducted in addition to the traffic and patrol units who follow buses almost daily, pending calls for service of course.

A huge thank you to our motorcycle officers, Detective Chipman and Officer Brooks, as well as our CEMLEC partners, for your time, teamwork, and dedication!

Thank you to all the involved students and staff at Leicester Middle School's Symphonic Band who invited us and Leicester Fire to their annual 9/11 remembrance concert this past Friday, September 11, 2026.

Your acknowledgement and honor for all the innocent souls and first responders taken that day is incredibly special! Thank you.
