The water will be shut off tomorrow (Thursday)at about 9 am for a water main replacement on Beech Street. This will affect houses from Ash Street east to the city limits and from the well house on Beech Street south to Church Street. Not sure how long this will take, but hopefully it will be done by 3. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The Village drained the fire hydrants so if you have water filters or a water filtration system, you might want to drain the water coming into the filters to get clean water behind the filters.

If you have received one of these letters, we highly recommend that you answer the question and return the survey via the envelope provided to you ASAP. This survey is being done to help determine if our community would be eligible for grants for community improvement projects. Your individual answers will not be directly shared with anyone from the community, but rather NENEDD will tally the results to determine if our community is eligible for certain grants based on our community's average income.
