The Conservation District recently held a Pocket Pond workshop. Participants received the free program as well as a hand-out with instructions on how to build a pocket pond in their home landscape. All attendees were entered into a raffle to win a pocket pond starter kit.

Speaker was Aaron Capouellez from PA Woods & Forests.

Prize Winner was Deb Strickland - she won a 25 gallon tub to begin creation of her own pocket pond as well as 2 guide books to help her identify what she sees as wildlife starts to visit it/make it their home.
