Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we pause to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave everything in defense of them.

🚒 Last night, we proudly welcomed three new firefighter/paramedics to the Lemont Fire Protection District family as they were officially sworn in.

Over the past year, FF/PM Jack Irwin, FF/PM Conner McWilliams, and FF/PM Joseph Coulter have shown tremendous dedication, commitment, and perseverance throughout their probationary process and training. From long hours of learning and hands-on training to answering calls alongside our crews, they have worked tirelessly to earn the privilege of wearing the Lemont badge.
