Over the next two weeks, 21 international participants will develop an in-depth understanding of the essential elements of nuclear security through the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) - IAEA Programs at Argonne International Training Course on Essential Elements of Nuclear Security for Nuclear and Other Radioactive Material out of Regulatory Control.

The course will feature presentations and practical exercises on strengthening nuclear security regimes, implementing preventive measures and detection systems, responding to incidents involving nuclear and other radioactive material out of regulatory control, and enhancing nuclear security for major public events.
