Answer: The well owner is responsible for all costs associated with purchasing, installing, operating, maintaining, testing, calibrating, and replacing the meters. The owner is also responsible for
recordkeeping and providing access to the SFK GSA. These obligations remain unless the SFK GSA establishes a funding, rebate, or cost-sharing program in the future.

Answer: Your pumping zone (A, B, or C) is determined by the depth of your well's screened interval (or perforations) compared to the depth of the Corcoran Clay layer beneath your property. To find your well's screened interval, you will need to review your Well Completion Report (WCR), which is sometimes referred to as a driller's log.

These are credits generated through water banking, recharge projects, or other approved projects that mitigate undesirable results in the SFK GSA. To protect the Subbasin, a designated percentage of the recharged water is "left behind" and will not be credited to your account.

If your parcel receives a sustainable yield allocation but you do not irrigate that acreage, you can transfer that allocation to other actively irrigated parcels within the SFK GSA. Furthermore, if you present appropriate documentation to the GSA that a property is fallow, the evapotranspiration values for that parcel will be set to zero.
