During the campaign, Lena officers will conduct additional traffic enforcement throughout the community with a focus on seat belt compliance during both daytime and nighttime hours.

Statewide seat belt usage reached 93% in 2025, but serious and fatal crashes involving unrestrained occupants continue to occur, especially during nighttime driving hours.

The “Click It or Ticket” campaign is funded with federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.

‼️IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ‼️

IEMA is conducting a damage assessment following the recent tornado. This informaion is critical in determining whether our community qualifies for state and federal disaster assistance for residents and local businesses.

We are asking all residents and business owners to complete the assessment - even if your damage seems minor. Every report helps provide a complete and accurate picture of the impact on our community.

Please be as thorough as possible when describing damage. Underreporting can affect our ability to secure the support our community needs to recover.

The assessment should only take 5-10 minutes to complete and can be submitted online here: https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/56bafe3b44854af192993d73a2201765?portalUrl=https://ilema.maps.arcgis.com
