The Shadow Buddies Foundation We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children cope with illnesses.

Hospitalization can be a frightening and lonely experience for a child. Our Shadow Buddies are designed to be a friend "just like me," allowing children to feel like there is a friend who understands his or her condition. Our buddies are soft and comforting, and each buddy is specifically designed to be a teaching tool, too--many of our buddies assist medical professionals in helping children understand their prognosis and treatment.

Mark your calendars! 🎅🏼 A truly MAGICAL day is just around the corner, and this year we’re taking flight in TWO cities!

More than 65 terminally ill and medically challenged children will receive a special airline boarding pass with one very important destination: the North Pole! 🎟️🎄

Accompanied by a parent, these special children will board an airplane and be greeted by pilots and flight crews dressed for the occasion, creating a day filled with Christmas magic, joy, and unforgettable memories. ❤️
