🩷 Today, our bail bonds team delivered 50 fully prepared meals and bottles of water to neighbors experiencing homelessness.
What a privilege to share hope and comfort in our own community. But there’s work left to do: we need more of us to step up.
📊 Did you know:
The 2024 Point‑in‑Time Count estimated 11,626 people experiencing homelessness statewide, up about 19% from 2023.
There has been an increase in individuals experiencing homelessness in Caldwell County— including those in emergency shelters, transitional settings, and unsheltered situations .
Additionally, nearly 12% of residents live with severe housing problems, such as overcrowding, unaffordable rent, or lack of plumbing or kitchen access .
🗣️ Here’s how you can make a difference:
• Help distribute meals, water, hygiene supplies, or blankets
• Volunteer at shelters or collaborative programs like the Caldwell County Homeless Coalition
• Share awareness via social media—tag other local businesses or community groups
• Encourage local nonprofits to partner or receive critical donations
🤝 Together, we can build community:
We’d like to challenge three other local businesses or teams each week to do something — whether it’s donating a few meals, coordinating a supply drop, or spending time with those in need.
Let’s create momentum and drive change, one act of kindness at a time. 🩷
