🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: Ridge Street Sewer Extension Project 🚧

Contractors will begin work on the Ridge Street Sewer Extension starting Monday, November 3rd through Thursday, November 6th.

During construction, please note the following road closures and traffic changes between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily:

🔸 No through traffic will be allowed on Harper Avenue between Mulberry Street and Norwood Street.

🔸 Norwood Street will also be closed to through traffic from College Avenue to Harper Avenue.

🔸 Traffic entering the downtown area on Harper Avenue will only be allowed to turn right onto Ridge Street.

🔸 No left turns will be permitted at Harper Avenue and Norwood Street.

Please plan ahead and use alternate routes if possible. We appreciate your patience as crews work to complete these important infrastructure improvements!

The Lenoir Police Department is deeply grateful for the strong partnership we share with the Lenoir Fire Department and all of our local emergency service partners. Working together, we remain committed to keeping our community safe every day.
