Lawrence County Fire Rescue members are pleased to announce that the application process for our new Junior Firefighter Program will open in mid to late September! We will share more details on the program and the application process in the near future!

This week hydrant testing/maintenance will begin in the Leoma, Center Point, and Southeast districts. You may experience brief periods of lower pressure than normal. This hydrant testing is a cooperative effort between the fire departments and Leoma Utilities using a third party company. This testing will help us ensure hydrant operability, identify hydrants that need additional maintenance, and satisfy ISO requirements for testing.

Tim was a proud member of our department for over 30 years. Both of his children served in the department until life took them away to other things. After he could no longer physically respond to calls he still came to every fundraiser he could to support us and make us laugh. He was a helper, had a big heart, and was always ready to crack a joke on you or himself. We’re sure Amber had a big hug waiting for him. We ask you to join us in praying for his family during this difficult time.

🚒 It’s that time of year again!!!!

📌 Mark your calendars for our annual Spring Fish Fry!!!!

‼️ This will be our ONLY fish fry for the year!!!!

‼️Again…..we will NOT be having a fall Fish Fry anymore.

🐟 So make plans to dine in or carry out with your family and friends! We can’t wait to see everyone in the community and surrounding communities!!

Backdraft Bingo Update:

Due to lower than expected ticket sales and lack of availability of volunteers to run the event we have decided to cancel Backdraft bingo scheduled for April 11. Everyone who purchased a ticket will receive a full refund. We are working with the collection company to issue those refunds at this time. However, the credit card fee charged at purchase will have to be refunded separately. We are working on that plan now and will send an email to everyone who purchased tickets on how to receive the credit card fee refund. We are sorry for the inconvenience and
we thank you for continued support of our volunteer Fire Dept.
