Earlier this week, Supervisor/EMT Baker, EMT Houle and trainee EMT Belliveau had the opportunity to assist in creating a landing zone with Grafton MA Fire Department and the Grafton Police Department - Massachusetts so that the Police department junior cadets could see UMass Memorial LifeFlight land, meet the crew and ask questions!

As thousands of riders take to the roads today, our EMS crews are proud to stand at the starting line alongside the dedicated volunteers, law enforcement, firefighters, and event staff!

MedStar is honored to support an event that brings communities together in the fight against cancer.

Earlier this week, we sent 3 of our Supervisors for a two day training conference in Worcester with the Massachusetts Ambulance Association.
This was an amazing learning experience for them and for the company!

We are asking for the community's help locating John Amadei, a resident of Crescent Manor Rest Home who was last seen on July 13, 2026.

Description:
Male, balding/gray hair
5'7", approximately 165 lbs.
Last seen wearing blue plaid pajama pants and a light blue top. Wearing sneakers. May be carrying a black backpack

Last known location: He was seen exiting a yellow cab at the Walmart located at 25 Tobias Boland Way, Worcester, MA.
Due to his current mental health state, he is considered endangered, and his family and caregivers are very concerned for his safety.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Fitchburg Fire Department Deputy Chief Pj Roy.

We mourn not only a dedicated leader, but also a mentor, colleague, and friend whose commitment to serving our community and supporting those around them left a lasting impact. His leadership and unwavering dedication to emergency services will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Pj’s family and friends. Please keep his loved ones, as well as our partners at Fitchburg EMS and Fitchburg Fire Department in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, PJ. Your service, sacrifice, and legacy will live on in all of us. 🖤❤️🚑

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Fitchburg High School Auditorium, 140 Arn-How Farm Road, Fitchburg.
