Southern Maryland entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas at the Southern Maryland Innovation and Tech (SMIT) MeetUp on October 22. SMIT, sponsored by the St. Mary’s County Department of Economic Development. Two local startups, Blink and Q3D
Printers won the opportunity to exhibit at the 2014 Entrepreneur Expo on November 12.

Candidate Forums to be Featured on St. Mary’s County Government TV 95. Citizens unable to attend either or both of the upcoming League of Women Voters candidate’s forums can view them on St. Mary’s County Government TV 95 (SMCG TV 95.)
The first forum, scheduled for Thursday, October 16, will feature candidates running for the St. Mary’s County Board of Education and County Commissioner. The second forum, scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, will include candidates for Delegate and State Senator.
