💦📚 What an incredible way to wrap up Summer Reading! 📚💦
Today, we celebrated an amazing summer with our 🎉💦 Wacky Water Day! 💦🎉, and what a wonderful day it was! From running through sprinklers and playing water games to giant yard games, bubbles, snow cones, lunch, and lots of laughter, it was the perfect way to celebrate a summer full of books, learning, and fun.
This year, 62 children participated in the Leonardville City Library’s Summer Reading Program with over 400 book reports turned in, and I couldn’t be more proud of every single one of them. Watching so many young readers grow their love of books, make new friends, and create lasting memories has been the greatest reward.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible volunteers, families, donors, and community members who helped make today 🙏🏽 and our entire Summer Reading Program 💪🏽 a success. Whether you volunteered your time, loaned supplies, donated materials, attended programs, or simply encouraged a child to read, you helped make a difference. Small-town communities truly are something special.

Although Summer Reading has come to an end, the fun doesn’t stop here! The Leonardville City Library is here for our community all year long, and we can’t wait to share even more programs, events, and adventures with you in the months ahead.
