As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, we ask all families to log in to their School Cash Online account and review any outstanding balances from the 2025–2026 school year.

Items marked with a ⭐ are mandatory fees, that are due by June 30th. Paying outstanding balances helps support student programs, activities, and resources that benefit our entire school community.

If you’re unsure how to access your account or have questions about a balance, please contact the school office. We understand that every family’s situation is different and are happy to assist.

As we close out the 2025–2026 school year, we want to thank our students, staff, families, and community for another incredible year at Leonville Elementary! 💙💛🦁

This year, our Lions continued to grow academically, socially, and emotionally through hard work, teamwork, and school pride.

From Pre-K to 8th grade, our students showed resilience, growth, leadership, and Lion Pride every single day.

We know back-to-school shopping can be stressful, so we wanted to help our LES families get a head start! 💙💛 To make shopping easier this summer, we are sharing the dress code reminders that will remain the same for the 2026-2027 school year. While our student handbook will be updated over the summer, these guidelines can help families avoid purchasing items that may not meet school expectations. Our goal is to save parents time, money, and frustration while helping students start the school year ready for success! 🦁 Please review the flyer carefully before shopping. Mrs. Benoit’s homeroom celebrated the second anniversary of publishing child authors after months of writing, editing, and illustration efforts. The stories written by each student were inspired by daily conversations during their morning meetings. The students received their copies of 'It’s More than Math: Volume 2' this week. Waylon W was the winner of the book cover illustrator contest for this year and got to design the cover for the book! Looking forward to next year’s stories and authors!

🎉 BIG congratulations to our very own 4th grade math teacher, Ms. Benoit! 🎉

We are so proud to announce that Ms. Benoit has been selected as a PRESENTER for the prestigious Teach Out Loud Conference at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette this November!

Her session, “Play to Performance – Games and Music in Math,” was officially accepted to be presented to educators from across the region. This conference highlights innovative educators who are making an impact in classrooms, and we could not think of anyone more deserving of this honor.

Ms. Benoit continuously brings creativity, passion, and engagement into math instruction for our students, and now she will have the opportunity to share those ideas with fellow educators from all areas.

Leonville is proud to have teachers who lead not only in the classroom, but also in the educational community as a whole. Please help us congratulate Ms. Benoit on this amazing accomplishment! 💜🦁
