We had such a great time meeting everyone, making new connections, and getting to be part of the Lubbock community.

Fireworks are a Fourth of July tradition—but safety should always come first.

Before you light the fuse, keep these safety tips in mind:

💧 Have a bucket of water or a hose nearby.
🚫 Never relight a firework that doesn't go off.
👨‍👩‍👧 Keep children and pets at a safe distance.
🌾 Only use fireworks outdoors, away from buildings, vehicles, and dry grass.
🗑️ Soak used fireworks in water before disposing of them.
🔥 Most importantly, be mindful of any local burn bans or fire restrictions. Dry conditions can cause a single spark to spread quickly and lead to devastating fires.
