Freezing rain will begin shortly after lunch, 1-2pm time frame and transition to snow later this evening. Public safety and public works/road crews are prepped for the impending winter weather.
If we are impacted by power outages or have a need to open a warming center, we have those locations designated and generators staged to support those facilities in Anton, Levelland, Smyer Sundown and Ropesville.
If/when we open a warming center, a message will be sent on I-info with location and hours of operation and the same will be posted on this page.
