Today we had an emergency call from a customer we service.

With their final inspection this week, their fire alarm panel failed unexpectedly — a system we originally took over from a previous contractor.

Here are the before and after photos. We replaced the guts, main panel keypad/door, cleaned up the panel wiring a bit, and reduced the issues from 15 troubles down to just 3 remaining troubles to tackle tomorrow.

The client is protected and the system is operational in the meantime time!

One of our largest clients — a 21-story building in Philadelphia — urgently needed 12 fire alarm troubles cleared in order to remove building violations. The pressure was definitely on.
We were able to make it happen on very short notice, working together with Johnson Controls to get the system back to where it needed to be. The tech they sent us was A+++ to work with. He went above and beyond helping us work through programming issues and discontinued hardware challenges.

After a lot of teamwork, problem solving, and a lot of steps logged, we all let out a big sigh of relief when the panel finally showed:

✅ “SYSTEM IS NORMAL.”

That’s what it’s all about — getting our clients back to safe, compliant operation.
Big thanks to the team effort that made this happen. You can almost see the smile on my face in the panel reflection 😅
