Brookwood is hosting a New Student Welcome Days on September 3! New families are invited for breakfast, tours, and meet-and-greets. Kindergarten orientation will also be held at 10 a.m.

Our Summer Food Service Program served 1,700+ more meals than last summer! Over 47 serving days, we served 6,922 breakfasts and 8,843 lunches for a total of 15,765 free meals.

Thank you to our Food Service Department for nourishing our students for the past three summers!

Opening Day for teachers was filled with positivity and excitement for the new school year!

Cheerleaders greeted teachers upon arrival, and staff enjoyed breakfast in the cafeteria. Shrek Kids gave a special performance in the auditorium, and teachers won prizes donated by community sponsors. Guest speaker Dr. Nikole Hollins-Sims presented “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.”

New to Mill Creek? Let’s shake those jitters away! 🐯💛🖤

We’re excited to welcome our newly registered students in Grades 1–5 to our Jitters Away Event on September 3 from 12:00–1:00 PM!

Students and families will have a chance to meet our principals, take a mini tour of Mill Creek, and get a little more comfortable before the first day of school. We can’t wait to welcome our newest Tigers and help them feel like they BELONG from day one! 🐾

As students and staff prepare to return for the new school year, Armstrong Middle School is welcoming them back to a significantly upgraded learning environment following the successful completion of an extensive summer renovation project.

The work represented Phase 1 of a multi-year revitalization plan for Armstrong, and was focused on ensuring a healthy and comfortable learning environment for staff and students by completely overhauling the school’s HVAC system, and then completing targeted classroom improvements.

Mill Creek's Kindergarten Camp was a huge success! 💙🐯

We had a wonderful two weeks welcoming our youngest learners to Mill Creek and helping them get comfortable, build confidence, and get ready for an exciting school year ahead! 📚✏️

We also loved that our kindergarten campers were able to participate in our Summer Meals Program, starting their mornings with breakfast right here at Mill Creek. It was especially nice to see so many of our families stay and enjoy lunch together after camp pick-up! 🍎🥪

What a great way to begin building connections with our newest Tigers and their families. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for the start of the school year! 🐯💙💛

Parents/Guardians – Please verify the accuracy of your email addresses and phone numbers for the upcoming school year on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

1. Log on to the Infinite Campus Portal (If you are having trouble logging in, please contact your child’s school.)

2. Select “More” on the right side of the menu bar.

3. Select “Family Information.”

4. Click the “Update” button for each of the PARENTS/GUARDIANS ONLY and edit the phone numbers and/or email address fields.

5. Make sure you check the boxes stating primary email and phone numbers to send information to.

6. Click the blue “Update” button to save changes.
