Edgely Fire Company is looking for motivated individuals ages 16 and older to join our team! Whether you’re interested in firefighting or helping behind the scenes, there’s a place for you at Edgely.

No experience? No problem! We provide all training and equipment. All you need is the willingness to learn and the desire to make a difference.

🔥 By the end of this year, our members will have the opportunity to train and respond with TWO brand-new fire trucks, giving you the chance to work with modern apparatus and equipment from day one.

Welcome Home, Ladder 10! 🚒

We’re excited to officially welcome the newest addition to our station. Ladder 10!
This has definitely been a long time coming, and we’d like to extend a sincere thank you to the members of our Truck Committee for the countless hours of planning, dedication, and hard work they put into making this happen. Their commitment has been instrumental in bringing this truck to our department. While Ladder 10 has officially arrived, there are still a few finishing touches to complete. It also needs to be fully loaded with all of the tools and equipment necessary before it’s ready to respond to emergencies. Last night, many of our members stopped by the station to get their first look at the new truck. We can’t wait to finish the final details, get Ladder 10 fully equipped, and place it into service for the community we are proud to protect.

Last night the Edgely Fire Company was dispatched to assist Station 13 for a dwelling fire in Blueridge. No reported injuries and Chief 13 placed the fire under control in about 30 minutes. Remember, WORKING SMOKE DETECTORS SAVE LIVES!!!

We would like to welcome new junior member Delaney to the Edgely Fire Company. She had her first drill the other night and you can see she got right into it. Delaney said she joined because she always wanted to help people, and try to save a life. We look forward to your future at Edgely!!!

Its been a pretty busy weekend thus far for the Tenhouse. On Friday Edgely was dispatched on a multi alarm fire to assist Bristol Borough. We were then dispatched with Tullytown Fire Co. to assist with multiple trucks on fire Sunday morning. In between our members also put in 2 duty crews to staff the station over the holiday weekend. We would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend!!!

Teaching and practicing with our new probationary member while sharpening skills and getting reps in as a crew….and if you can’t tell by some of the side eyes I was receiving in these photos… some of them definitely don’t like getting their picture taken 😂📸 Apparently becoming a member of Edgely Fire Co. also means automatically signing up to be photographed at every drill night 😂
