PROGRESSIVES CRITICIZE LOWER DRUG PRICES FOR THE PEOPLE ONLY BECAUSE IT IS A DONALD TRUMP SUCCESS. This is a great piece, and I am publishing it in full on my Substack feed and in part on my other social media sites due to text limitations.
All Americans are well aware of the high costs of drugs, and Trump is taking it head-on. But, the progressives, most of them, don't want Trump to succeed and would rather the people pay the higher prices. This is not only concerning, but sick. No politics of any order should work against progress for the people, but that is the case for the progressives.
Joy Behar, one of the most hateful women I've ever seen or heard, and is one of the first to go negative for a positive for the people. She is a nutjob and knows nothing but anti-American hate under Trump. I'd call this an advanced stage of TDS, which most of those on the view have.
The progressives need to stop the crap and get back to basics, where the people come first, not the party, Hollywood or billionaires like the one living in China feeding the hate, and the funny thing is, this guy is married to a Code Pink supporter or leader. He has unlimited funding and is using it. We are under attack, my friends, so don't fall asleep. All IMO.

"Yes — lower drug prices are apparently now dangerous.
The outrage followed the administration’s announcement last Monday that roughly 600 additional generic medications would be added to the TrumpRX initiative, expanding access to lower-cost purchasing options for millions of Americans. The administration estimates the broader effort could save consumers and seniors hundreds of billions of dollars over the next decade.
..
Apparently, lowering drug costs is only admirable when it arrives wrapped inside a massive government expansion program and signed by the “correct” political party.
..
Innovation and affordability do not have to be enemies.
The United States continues to lead the world in pharmaceutical development because our system — despite its flaws — still rewards scientific risk-taking, capital investment, and medical innovation. ...
At the same time, Americans are entirely justified in demanding greater transparency, lower out-of-pocket costs, and more competitive pricing structures.
The challenge is achieving those goals without replacing one distorted system with another.
That is where TrumpRX represents a meaningful shift in the right direction. Rather than relying exclusively on centralized price controls or sweeping government management of healthcare delivery, the initiative attempts to increase competition, expand generic access, improve price visibility, and weaken the grip of entrenched intermediary structures.
Is it perfect? Of course not.
..
That is the real debate policymakers should be having — not whether consumers deserve relief from inflated healthcare costs, but how to achieve that relief without sacrificing the innovation, flexibility, and long-term resilience that make modern medicine possible in the first place."
One day, historians may look back at The View and conclude the program functioned less as political commentary and more as accidental satire. That conclusion became even more plausible last week after co-host Joy Behar suggested Americans could effectively “die” because President Trump is attemp...
