Over 80 people went away with boxes of plants. Some still left on the porch at Cornell in Lewis. Come and get 'em. Share photos of your gardens this summer and enjoy the veggies, herbs and flowers!

Every year the Essex County Master Garder Volunteers grow veggies, herbs and flowers to plant 50 bucket gardens for the Office of the Aging to give to local elderly so they can grow a small garden at home. Any leftover plants we give away to the public. Stop by today 10am-noon and take home seedlings for your own garden. Bring a tablespoon of your soil and get it tested and have your gardening questions answered. We have buckets gardens for sale too! A fun time!

The Thrall dam winter trails are great for snowshoeing, x-country skiing and snow machines. The woods and mountain views are stunning this time of year. The Rt 9 and Wadhams Road entrances are usually plowed in the winter. Although the Ray Woods Road parking isn't plowed the views of the Jay range are worth the drive by.
