🚨 SCHOOL BUS SAFETY REMINDER — PLEASE READ & SHARE 🚨
As our school buses travel through Lewisburg each day, we want to remind everyone of the Tennessee school bus stop laws, especially on our four-lane
roads with a continuous left-turn lane.
WHEN YOU MUST STOP:
🛑 All traffic must stop — both directions — when a school bus is loading or unloading on:
* Any two-lane road
* Any three-lane road
* Any four-lane road with a center turn lane or painted center line (This includes EVERY multi-lane road in Lewisburg)
WHEN YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STOP:
✔️ Only when traveling opposite the bus on a true divided highway with a physical barrier:
Grass median, concrete barrier, or raised divider.
IMPORTANT FOR LEWISBURG DRIVERS:
⚠️ There are no divided four-lane roads in Lewisburg.
👉 This means you MUST stop for school buses in all directions within city limits.
Please help us keep our students safe-slow down, pay attention , and always stop for the bus.
