Cemeteries took a pretty good hit from this last storm that passed through. Crews were able to open all roadways back up. With the exception of one crossover in the front of Roselawn. They will get back on cleaning up the cemeteries on Tuesday after the holiday weekend.

Let us help you keep track of your investment and beautiful decorations in the cemeteries. With our recent winds, a few of them have been displaced, even with them being secured with a sort of attachment tactics. Below is an example of a saddle like we are speaking of and a saddle found loose in Roselawn.

In the future, please have folks put a piece of tape on them with the stone location/name. Also, the person placing the decorations should include their name and phone number. We will do our best to notify you if they are displaced or if we are unable to put them back to their original location.

***Posting for another special meeting required to meet timelines of Board of Elections. Along with appropriate additional funds to cover the emergency repair due to damage at the Lower Lewisburg cemetery.

***Additionally the regular meeting 8/5 will be cancelled to allow elected officials to be present with their families at Preble County fair.

As we are catching up and Eric is getting his feet under him. We will try and post some of the jobs in progress or as completed this summer.
This is a driveway pipe install completed on Rockridge Rd.
Driveway access permits are approved by the County Engineers office and Township Trustees. Harrison Township will then schedule a time to complete the install working with landowners to fit their needs.
Landowners are responsible for purchase of the pipe and the gravel. We will handle the labor and install.

As promised yesterday, we would like to introduce Harrison Township's new Road Supervisor. Eric Nelson has big shoes to fill, but we are confident he is going to do great things for our township. He officially started on June 29th and has been quite busy.
Eric graduated from that other school down 503 to the south, comes to us with years of experience working as a Diesel mechanic, and for a neighboring county's engineers' office. As you can see in the picture, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, and spending time outdoors.
He's already knocked out several projects that were pending and has many more on his plate before the snow flies.

Harrison Township is looking to hire an additional full-time employee. See attached job posting.

Eric Nelson was hired and is now in the position of Roads Supervisor. Look for an upcoming post welcoming and introducing him to our residents. This position will work alongside him and our other amazing part-time employees and elected officials.

Happening now walk on in and knock your physical out for $20.

A little out of our realm of normal activity. We are opening our building to host a sports physical clinic next Friday 6/5 at 5PM where Nuse Medical will be completing physicals for athletes in need. We hope that events like this can save our residents some gas money, a Doctors office visit, and keep the kids on the fields or courts in the coming year. Open to anyone not just TCN kids!
