Funded Partner Highlight: Child and Youth Advocacy Center (CYAC) 💙

The Child and Youth Advocacy Center (CYAC) serves Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas Counties by helping children and families affected by abuse. Through a collaborative approach with law enforcement, Child Protective Services, medical providers, and other partners, CYAC works to empower children, restore hope, and end abuse.

With funding from United Way of Greenbrier Valley, CYAC is able to continue its Prevention and Education Program, serving students, school staff, and other youth-serving professionals. Students learn about healthy boundaries, body safety, and trusted adults, while educators and other professionals receive training to recognize and respond to signs of child abuse.

We're proud to support programs that help keep children safe, strengthen families, and give trusted adults the tools they need to make a difference. 💙

🎓 We’re proud to celebrate United Way of Greenbrier Valley’s Program Director, Bailey Morgan on graduating from Generation West Virginia’s 2026 Fellowship!

The GWV Fellowship is a leadership development program that brings together young professionals from across West Virginia to strengthen their professional skills, expand their networks, learn from leaders across the state, and deepen their connection to the communities they call home.

Over the course of the fellowship, fellows had the opportunity to learn alongside professionals from a variety of industries and communities throughout West Virginia, building new skills, connections, and perspectives that she can bring back to her work here in the Greenbrier Valley.

We’re excited to see how this experience continues to shape her work and leadership in our community, and we’re proud to have a GWV Fellow right here at United Way of Greenbrier Valley!
