The GEHS girls track team captured the AAA Team State Championship, along with numerous individual state titles, while the boys team also brought home individual state wins. Congratulations to:

- Colton Dunbar: Class A Boys 110m Hurdle State Champion
- State Runner-Up (Shuttle Hurdles): Kamden Sams, Shane Plogger, Ben Butler, Colton Dunbar

The Greenbrier County Board of Education proudly recognized the Greenbrier West High School softball team during Time Out for Applause at today’s board meeting!

The team had an outstanding season, earning the title of Regional Champions and advancing to the state tournament. While at the state tournament, the team was also commended for the way they represented Greenbrier West and Greenbrier County Schools off the field. Their respectful behavior, sportsmanship, and professionalism made a lasting impression and brought pride to their school and community.

Special recognition goes to Brilee Redden for earning Class A All-Tournament Honors, along with Brooklyn Adkins for her contributions to the team’s success.

From the egg toss to the water sponge challenge, relays, tug-of-war, and so many more fun games, our Timberwolves showed teamwork, energy, and school spirit every step of the way. 🐺💙
