A huge thank you to CatherineRuthHair for teaching dads basic hair care tips and simple hairstyles like braids and buns at our Girldad Hair School event!

It was a great opportunity for them to learn how to care for their daughters’ hair and to make lasting memories together. Each girl left with a belly full of donuts and a caddy full of hair care goodies to use at home.

Thank you to Amanda Badger from Wild Hearts African Farm for sharing the dirt on animals with us today!

We learned that tortoises are a keystone species and have feeling in their shells. Did you know screech owls don’t actually screech, woodchucks are a type of squirrel, hedgehogs are mammals, and that millipedes do NOT have a million legs?

Most importantly, we learned that Amanda is an awesome animal educator who taught us that we all play a vital role in protecting our wildlife! 🦉🐢🌿
