Saturday of Service provides free books to children who arrive at the church via the SOS drive-thru on the third Saturday of every month. Books are donated by businesses and individuals within the church and community. Thanks to all those who provide childrens books for this ministry. Providing an opportunity to instill a love of reading alongside a free meal is a win win!!!📚🌭📖🍲

The volunteers who do most of the prep work prior to Saturday of Service don’t just prep and prepare food, they cook with love. These dedicated volunteers return every month to roast, bake, slice, dice, peel, mix, stir, scrape, etc. This gathering isn’t just about culinary skills, it’s about connection and conversation. Smiles are exchanged, stories are shared, and laughter is infectious. For these hard working volunteers, it’s a labor of love. Thank you to each and every one of these amazing humans for helping to provide physical and spiritual nourishment to those they serve and to each other. ❤️💕🧡

Whether you sorted through clothing donations, helped with food prep and serving, or delivered meals with a warm smile, the hard work, tireless energy, and generous hearts of Saturday of Service volunteers make all the difference in this ministry.
Thanks to each and every volunteer for being the hands and feet of service.

Not only did Saturday of Service serve 874 hot dog meals today, we also provided free dresses and skirts at the drive thru “Blessed and Dressed” clothing ministry.

To the recipients of the meals and/or the clothing, we hope you feel the love💕❤️.

Moments like this remind us just how incredible our community truly is. Because of your donations, kindness, and support, items given to our thrift store help make a real difference far beyond our walls.

We recently received this heartfelt thank-you note, and it’s a beautiful reminder that when a community comes together, amazing things happen.
