Friday mornings are for CPR Training!

This morning our fire crews, along with Hawesville Fire Department, were dispatched to a trailer on fire at Hancock County’s Waste Management facility. Great work by all involved and we’re thankful for everyone’s safety.

The Kentucky State Fire School Committee is seeking to build a course list for the 96th annual school, to be held June 9-13, 2027 in Lexington.

We are accepting submissions for courses you would like see taught, or, if you are an instructor, courses you would be interested in teaching.

Be advised: there is a tree down in the 1200 block of Riverview Drive this morning. It is not blocking the street, but has taken out some electric lines. Kenergy was advised and will be on seen as soon as possible. Please do not mess with any downed power lines.
