We are incredibly grateful to the Harry W. Morrison Foundation for their generous $20,000 grant awarded to UGM on March 11, 2026, to help purchase a refrigeration truck for the LC Valley Shelter.

Thanks to their partnership and support, the truck has now been purchased and will play an important role in helping us serve our community more effectively.

Since 1951, UGM has partnered with the Inland Northwest community to help individuals break the cycle of homelessness, abuse, and addiction, and we are grateful for everyone who has been part of that story.

Today, we celebrate the incredible blessings of moms!

At UGM, we walk alongside mothers who are seeking real, lasting change. Many are working toward reconciliation with their children, overcoming addiction, and building a new future filled with hope. In a safe and supportive environment, families begin to heal, children find stability, and mothers rediscover their purpose.

This Mother’s Day, you can support a mom in your community and invest in your neighborhood by coming alongside families who may be facing challenges.

A big thank you to P1FCU for serving during the Twin County United Way Day of Caring! Alongside HMH Engineering, the team helped paint the retaining wall that will soon feature a beautiful mural in the moms-and-kids area at our LC Valley shelter.

At the UGM Men’s Shelter, volunteers like Mike are making a lasting impact.

Mike spends his time building meaningful mentor relationships, facilitating meetings, and offering friendship to the men we serve. As he shares, “Volunteering at UGM, you see changed lives. It’s not passing. It’s deeper. The Spirit is moving in this place, and it is a blessing to see that.”
