🚑 HAPPY EMS WEEK! 🚑
We want to send a massive shout-out to all fellow EMS providers!
A special thank you goes to our own incredible members and all those that have come before us. You make this service what it is.
This EMS Week looks a little different for our crew. We paused our annual EMS Week Open House due to new facility construction, but that didn’t stop us from staying active in our community!
🎓 This week, our crew completed an initial Emergency Medical Responder course at the Lewiston - Altura School District. Nine students successfully completed the requirements to become certified as EMR's in the State of MN. They were trained in crucial life-saving skills:
* Basic Life Support CPR
* Medical & Trauma Assessments
* Oxygen & Airway Care
* Bleeding Control
Congrats to the students for a job well done!

Our crew has been exceptionally busy responding to 911 calls:
* 28 incidents in just 21 days this month
* 11 calls happened just this week
* 129 total incidents so far this year
