🗳 August 4th Statewide Primary Election!
Michigan will hold a state Primary Election on Aug. 4 to help determine which candidates will be on the ballot in the November General Election.

🏣Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day in every jurisdiction.

🗳 When voting a primary ballot, voters may only select candidates from the same political party, not both. Voting for candidates from both the Democratic and Republican parties – known as ticket-splitting – is not allowed under Michigan law in the primary and those partisan votes will not be counted. If you don't wish to vote in the partisan section and your jurisdiction has local contests, you can still vote in that section.

On behalf of the Albert Township Board and Staff, thank you to everyone who participated in our 2026 Clean-Up Day & Blight to Beauty event. Your participation reflects the pride our residents take in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming community.

This year's event represented an $18,000 investment by Albert Township to provide this service free of charge to township residents. We believe this investment is worthwhile because it helps preserve property values, reduce blight, protect our environment, and enhance the quality of life for everyone who calls Albert Township home.

Thank you for your support and participation!
