September 12th 9am-1pm SimCell for Continuing Care Exercise in Lewiston
Volunteers are needed to staff the SimCell phones for a regional long-term care facilities exercise. As part of the play, the healthcare facilities will need to contact various non-playing entities, like medical suppliers and doctor offices. Instead of contacting the real entities about mock patients, the SimCell will simulate those entities. The SimCell will also be simulating patients’ family members calling the facilities to find out information. You get to pretend to be all kinds of people while you help them practice their continuity of operations plans! The SimCell will be at the Public Health – Idaho North Central District office in Lewiston.
