Earlier this month, the federal government repealed a Biden-era rule that lowered childcare costs for the average American.

We saw this coming. This year, the Maine Legislature passed Senator Henry Ingwersen's bill that protects Maine families and childcare providers by putting those cost-lowering provisions into Maine law.

The deadline for the first batch of clean elections qualifying contributions is Thursday. If you haven’t yet contributed to clean elections candidates in your legislative districts, now’s the chance!

When you click on the link below, you will enter your address and your name. The districts you live in will appear before you, as well as the names of the candidates collecting $5 qualifying contributions. Please contribute to ALL the Democratic candidates available in your town.

Learn About Ranked Choice Voting!
The Secretary of State's office is offering an informational session about ranked choice voting.
It will be in-person at the Lewiston Public Library on Tuesday, May 12th, 5:30-7:00pm.

AUGUSTA, MAINE – With this Sunday, May 10, marking 30 days until the Primary Election on June 9 and absentee voting getting underway statewide on Monday, May 11, the Office of the Secretary of State provided an update about Maine’s election processes for this stage of the election cycle.

District 20 voters living in New Gloucester, Poland, Durham or Auburn! Our Maine Senate candidate, Mike Scott (D) is still in need of $5 clean election contributions - about 190 of them, in fact!! The campaign has set a goal of 100 contributions in May. That would put us on track for full funding from the clean election system. As you know, this is the only source of campaign funding for a clean election candidate. Please use the QR code to donate asap!! The sooner we reach our goal, the sooner we have a working budget.
