We want to make our community aware that our services are voluntarily. We review all options with everyone and allow them to make their own decisions. The information can be overwhelming but it is necessary to have all clientele receive the facts about protective orders and the possible outcomes, speaking with law enforcement about possible charges, or going to the hospital for medical care. Many times people we serve choose not to go through with any of the options provided but it is always their choose. Because services are strictly confidential, we cannot explain why clients make decisions in the moment then perhaps change their minds later. Even if a client decides not to utilize the options provided, we will still provide free and confidential services to them in the future. if they desire.
