Sergeant Wisener was recently on patrol in the Village of Lakeview and came across a young lady needing a new tire for her bicycle. Instead of buying a new tire, Sergeant Wisener, Officer Wirick and Officer Wirick’s wife Janie, came up with a plan to purchase a new bicycle and surprise her. Today, that bicycle was delivered and her smile says it’s all!

In a world full of hate and division, I encourage you all to find a way to be a Sergeant Wisener and Officer Wirick. I applaud these three for their desire to make this young ladies day and having a positive impact in our community!

Alright kids, summer is in full swing and we want to see you outdoors! School aged children caught outdoors being active from now until August 14th will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card courtesy of the Washington Township Police Officers Association !

Get ready for the 2026 Light Up the Lake Spectacular show on Saturday, July 4 at 10 pm! 🧨

Area Closure: the launch site is now closed beginning Monday, June 29 for fireworks preparations and is marked with fencing. Please stay out of the closed area. Do not park along State Route 366.

Launch site: South Bank of Indian Lake, from the midway parking lot on State Route 366 (near Township Road 239) to Paradise Point
